Shipping policy

At Grit & Forge, we know that when you order high-quality, problem-solving gear, you want it in your hands and ready to put to use as quickly as possible. This Shipping Policy outlines our processing times, delivery estimates, and procedures so you know exactly what to expect when you order from gritnforge.in.

1. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.

You will receive another notification, including tracking details, the moment your order has shipped.

Please note: Processing time is separate from the shipping time. Total delivery time = Processing Time + Transit Time.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Because we partner with premium global and domestic suppliers to bring you the most durable utility gear, delivery times may vary based on the origin of the product and your location.

Domestic Shipping (India):

Standard Shipping: 5 to 8 business days.

Shipping Cost: We offer FREE standard shipping on all prepaid orders within India.

Cash on Delivery (COD): Available for select pin codes. A standard COD handling fee of ₹50 - ₹100 may apply, which will be calculated at checkout.

International Shipping:

Standard International: 10 to 15 business days (depending on customs processing).

Shipping Cost: Calculated dynamically at checkout based on the destination country and order weight.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to extreme weather, festive high-volume seasons, or logistical issues with our courier partners. We appreciate your patience during these times.  

3. Order Tracking

Once your gear is shipped, you will receive an email and/or WhatsApp notification containing your tracking number and a link to track your package. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for the tracking portal to update with the live status of your shipment.

4. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (International Orders)

For orders shipping outside of India, Grit & Forge is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the sole responsibility of the customer (including tariffs, taxes, and duties).

5. Incomplete Addresses & RTO (Return to Origin)

Please ensure your shipping address, pin code, and phone number are 100% accurate before completing your purchase.

If a package is returned to us (RTO) due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, or if the customer is unavailable after multiple delivery attempts, a standard re-shipping fee will apply to send the package again.

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Please provide a standard residential or commercial address.

6. Damaged or Lost Packages

Your gear is built tough, but transit can be unpredictable.

Damaged on Arrival: If your package arrives damaged, please take a clear unboxing video and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods so we can file a claim with the carrier and send you a replacement immediately.

Lost in Transit: If your tracking status shows no movement for more than 7 days past the estimated delivery date, please reach out to our support team so we can investigate and resolve the issue for you.
